When you're feeling lost or all alone, or even when you're surrounded by those who feel your pain from heartbreak; when the ship you've been holding onto since the very beginning and is destined to be canon; when your two favorite who clearly have feelings for each other and just won't admit it, or have to jump through several hoops or over obstacle after obstacle to be with each other out of love… you are meant to read this.
No matter the show, or movie, or franchise/series of any medium, any of the above had to have struck a chord with you when you decided to stick to one or more ships of your choosing. Trust me: you are not alone. For you, whether just starting out or far along with the medium, you'll encounter quite some characters in need to be with each other in that way. You can't help it!
When the road seems long, or the light at the end of the tunnel is very, very faint; when your faith in these characters and the idea of their being an item is so strong and yet your strength is meant with nothing but stress and frustration (maybe resentment) as well as nonstop hurdles… let this be the answer to your prayers.
If you can relate to all of these things and are looking for answers because no one is giving you any in the right direction, or everyone believes that there is no way that at this point your beloved characters finally make it official, then you have come to the right place, because I am here to tell you exactly what you need to hear, or what you may have known deep down all along…
Don't give up on your ships on becoming canon, because as long as there is new content, they will always have a chance.
It may not seem like it now, given all of the obstacles they have to hop, but if you just held on a little bit longer, then the payoff will be well worth all that struggle – for them and for you. Your strong support would be just enough to have them jump those hurdles together.
Your strength can be part of their strength.
You love them for a reason, right? It might even be several reasons! Whatever the case it may be for them, they will find a way if they are willing to get through all this to get there.
So, block out that bleak voice in the back of your head telling you what everyone else had been feeding you. Just block out their negativity and focus on what makes your ship so special. If they are strong enough to get this far, then there shouldn't be any excuse for them to go a bit further.
It's never too late to get back on that train!
Come through for your ships, because if they are meant to be, then slowly but surely, they will come through for you…
