"This is semester is killing me." - all of us to our parents. It seems like no matter how many times you look on ratemyprofessor.com, get advice and old notes from friends who took the class before you, or even how much you know about the class, it still seems to kill us. And we still seem to fail.

1. When you dust off your planner and open it, only to realize Thanksgiving break is only two weeks away

2. Then, you keep skipping through and realize that finals are two weeks after that

3. Panicking slightly, you open your grades up and are blinded by the amount of low grades

4. You start to do the math to see what you need in every class to pull up to the next letter grade

5. You need a 135 on the next test to make the next letter grade because its the last test before the final

6. You get an email saying that you can still drop classes. but by the time you skim to the bottom, you still get a "W" on your transcript

7. So then, you decide to try and realize the next test is on Friday, and you have no idea what's going on in the class because Pinterest and online shopping

8. You start cracking down and studying every hour

9. You show up to a study session where everyone had obviously already known each other and been studying for weeks

10. They go on and on about all of the information, and you have no idea what they are saying

11. You stay up all night studying, then go to take the test

12. Right after the test, you confidently email your adviser about changing your major... again

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
