I have always been that person that doesn't have one specific friend group.
I don’t have that huge 10 person friend group that a lot of people have.
I have friends that I've met from various places, and they don't all know each other.
For example, in college, I have friends from my freshman and sophomore year dorms, my student organization and other events on campus.
It's definitely different than having one giant friend group with everyone knowing each other because it makes it harder to hang out in a big group.
Not everyone knows each other. It sometimes can be a little awkward going to dinner with two friends who both know you but don't know each other.
It would be nice to have one big friend group, but I have made the most of what I have! I always try and introduce one friend to another.
Over time I have tried to turn this into a positive, and I have realized that I have a variety of different types of friends, which is really interesting.
I have some friends who love sporting games, and we go together. I also have some who I study with.
I am happy with the friendships I have made at UNH and wouldn’t change it.
