I want to know.

I want to be sure of you.

Just as you should be sure of me.

And I want you to be sure of yourself.

I want you to see yourself as I see you.

I want you to love all of your imperfections.

Each stray hair.

Each freckle.

I want you to love that your eyes dance in the sunshine.

I want you to love that your nose crinkles when you try not to laugh.

And that you twitch as you're falling asleep.

I want you to love that you hurt when you remember your past.

And that you're worried when you think of your future.

I want you to love each good thing and each bad thing.

Because I love them.

And I love you. And I want you to know.

And I want you to be sure.

So I will tell you every day. And with each muttered 'I love you' before I go to bed.

I want to to know that I mean all of you.

Not just the you you let everyone see.

But all that you keep hidden too.

Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
