Take a breath. One big deep breath. That's it in 1...2...3 release 4...5....6....now repeat once more. Feel better? Realistically, probably not. In a world of midterms worth 50 percent of your grade, essays that need to be finished to perfection and extracurriculars that seem to rule your life, feeling overwhelmed seems like a natural state of being. So I just want you to breathe. I promise It's going to be okay. Just listen, sometimes you need to hear that.
First off, this test is not going to kill you. This paper is not going to destroy everything you have worked so hard to achieve. Study hard, be prepared, but don't stress yourself out to the point of desperation. If you end up in the mlc at 5 a.m. living off of tears and crackachinos, just remember, yes this grade is important, but it is not everything. It will not define you and it will certainly not define the rest of your life. Take a deep breath, try your best, but don't beat yourself up too much if the outcome isn't your ideal situation. And maybe that job is working you to the bone and you feel like you can't give anything else, but keep on keeping on, it will pay off. All the work you are putting in will result in a bigger pay out than you can ever imagine. Whatever is troubling you, whatever is exhausting you, take a break. Take 30 minutes out of the day and just relax. Close your eyes, day dream, listen to music, call a friend. You deserve a break.

Give yourself a break, allow yourself to take a break. Everyone needs it every once and awhile and doggone it you definitely do! So watch an episode of Netflix, scroll through unlikely animal friends on google (I promise it can lift the darkest of moods) and know that you're going to be okay. Your hard work will pay off and these days that feel like they never end will in fact end. You got this babe, just keep on keeping on, but don't forget to work in the occasional Netflix binge--it's for your sanity.
