When I was a child...
When she was a child she used to think time was a monster and that the monster could swallow her up any time it wanted.
Any time and anywhere it lies?
Anybody and everybody knows this monster right?
Time? Where are you going?
Time eats away at everything.
It's big and scary with bright red cautions but pretty fairies lay up in the young girls room.
Her dolls might even talk to her and her teddy comforts her when she feels the monster start to move.
She's young and insightful, delightful but naive.
She wants Santa to be alive and real dragons to fly,
and her brother to come for Halloween.
She wants to dress up and play pretend, see them all smile, see all her friends...
But please monster stay away just one night, one day, one hour, one minute, one night.
Time swallows the years with great stress and dry tears, and the monster is still lurking and wanting her to fear.
Time can only tell how long this journey will foretell and how vengeful this giant monster creeps in his cell.
Time in Adam and time within Eve.
Time, it can ruin quickly and even spitefully with revenge, although it can also chase out demands and run with no ends.
He may think he has domain and it may look as though he does, but the thing he doesn't know is that my God has overcome.
Time why it eats her and devours her at breath, but she notices the caption and refers to her big dad.
Big daddy, great father, dear majesty,
when I was a child I used to think time
was a monster and could swallow me up,
but now I do know that you're big, you're enough.
Time won't eat me up.
