When Bob's Burgers Accurately Describes Your Everyday Life

Last year I was introduced to my all time favorite TV show. This TV show has become a big part of my life and symbolizes a very important friendship to me. Every Sunday we get together to watch the new episode as it airs. Bob’s Burgers has become my life in cartoon form. I am Tina. And in honor of this beautiful show and the dysfunctional friendship it represents for me, here are some of my favorite quotes from the show!

1. “I just want to slap his hideous, beautiful face!” - Louise Belcher

I feel the same way …

2. “Why don’t you try speaking in words instead of your damn dirty lies!” - Louise Belcher

This quote comes to mind every time someone is telling me something I know is a lie.

3. “I want a dry erase board so I can write down all my private thoughts and then erase them immediately.” - Tina Belcher

This isn’t such a bad idea. Then they would be gone forever and you wouldn’t have to worry about anyone finding them!

4. “If you need me, I’ll be down here on the floor dying.” - Tina Belcher

Me, all the time. Making the Tina noise and everything.

5. “Tina’s gonna be okay. I made her a PB and J. She said she didn’t want it, so I ate it. She was still sad, so I made her another PB and J. She didn’t want that one either, so I ate it. Anyway, Tina wants to be alone for a little while, and we’re out of peanut butter.” - Linda Belcher

This will be me when I become a mother. You can count on that.

6. “Mommy doesn’t get drunk, she just has fun” - Linda Belcher

Yes, that will be my excuse too.

7. “If doing this play is making you say something that you don’t believe in, then maybe you shouldn't do it. Whether you kiss anyone or not, you’re in charge of your own … mouth. Who you kiss with it and what you say with it.” - Bob Belcher

They teach you lessons that you should remember for a lifetime. You are in charge of you, no one else.

8. “Okay, fine. But I’m gonna complain the whole time” - Bob Belcher

ME, every time anyone asks me to do anything that involves leaving my bed or getting out of my sweatpants.

9. “So I ask you, do you want a lifetime of regret or an afternoon of mild disappointment?!” - Gene Belcher

I ask myself this question almost every day.

10. “We have an Aunt Flo? She missed all my birthdays!” - Gene Belcher

You don’t know how lucky you are, Gene ...

This is only 10 of the beautiful thoughts that come out of the Belcher Family's mouth. If you want belly busting laughs mixed with life lessons and tips to get your enemy's back, I recommend you start watching Bob's Burgers NOW!

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

too tired to care

We've all been there. From move-in day to the first finals week in college, your first term is an adventure from start to finish. In honor of college decisions coming out recently, I want to recap some of the most common experiences college freshmen experience.

1. The awkward hellos on move-in day.

You're moving your stuff onto your floor, and you will encounter people you don't know yet in the hallway. They live on your floor, so you'll awkwardly smile and maybe introduce yourself. As you walk away, you will wonder if they will ever speak to you again, but don't worry, there's a good chance that you will make some great friends on your floor!

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.
