- University of Georgia's “darty season" takes place in spring semester, primarily during the months of March and April. Fraternities throw these day parties as rush events to show incoming freshmen how fun they are. Sorority girls flock to these darties in the newest spring trends with Chick-Fil-A or Canes cups in hand. Darties are usually held on the front lawns of fraternity houses. Live music is provided at the daytime affair.
- Twilight, a local bike race throughout downtown Athens, occurs during the last weekend of April and is another popular UGA darty. Races and drinking take place throughout the day. This year's Twilight is on April 25th, and you can bet that the downtown Athens bars will be packed full of celebrating students.
