What Your GroupMe Picture Says About You

After all, whatever picture you present to the world when you're blowing up the gm is basically legendary

What Your GroupMe Picture Says About You

GroupMe: For use when your one friend still isn't with the times and their android screws up the iPhone gm or for when the miraculous savior in the class can send study notes the day before the test.

The art of the Groupme pro pic is a craft, it's the face you present to the perfect strangers of your various classes, srat x frats, and various organizations. Wild, Professional, Cute or Candid, it's your personality sneak peak, and so maybe...the most telling thing about you. So let's find out what it means!

Not actually you

Mostly likely a ~turnt~ embarrassing picture of your friend that only people who know them will find funny. You are the life of the party and most likely your friend's gm pic is of you doing something crazy. Can most likely be found roasting your friends on the daily and shouting obnoxious comments from the back of the classroom. Be you my crazy friend.

Cute Candid

Let’s be real, it’s most likely a fandid. You are all about the accidental cuteness. You are the picture taker and picture editor of the friend group, you might even have a picture limit placed on you for your friends’ smiles’ sakes. Favorite catch phrase? “pics or it didn’t happen”.

Funny & ~WilD~

You are uninhibited and proud. You don’t care what anyone else thinks, you’re just gonna do you. And you is great. Most likely to go all out for every social; boldly bring two dates to a date night and definitely the favorite to win class clown (if colleges did that sort of thing).

W/ Animals

The future vet and current animal obsessed. You most likely train guide dogs just for the fun of it and volunteer at the local animal shelter. You have a huge heart for everyone and everything around you; however, any significant other you have will have to accept playing second fiddle to whatever pet holds your heart.

W/ the bf/gf

Listen up ladies and gents, this guy/chick's taken! So in love, you have to show the random strangers in your Ecology GroupMe that you are in a happy beautiful relationship. Lord help the fool who tries to slide into your dms, you’ll hit them with the "I have a bf/gf" before they can write their second sentence. You’re loyal, smitten and not afraid to show it- bold, be proud.

Perfect Senior Pictures

Might be from two years ago but you look pretty, so does it matter? What’s wrong with capturing life before the freshman 15 and all those endless nights spent at the university study center? You’re a simple person, you find something you like, you stick with it. This way, three years later, to the world you’ll still be your picture perfect senior self.

No picture best picture

Ah the lazy and the conspiracy theorists. Either you still haven’t gotten around to setting up that pro pic (effort ugh) or you don’t wanna show the world your beautiful face, for privacy reasons of course.

Picture with multiples

Your squad rivals Taylor Swift’s and the world deserves to know it. All your pictures are with your favorite people so most pics on your camera roll involve 4+ people, who needs a solo pro pic when you can showcase you and 5 of your hottest friends?

Professional af

Look at you, always working that angle. Your image is very important to you, you treat everything like it’s your LinkedIn profile so you best believe that everything you present to the public is professional and clean cut. But hey, when you’re making millions one day, no one will care about the boring paint suit headshot in your GroupMe pic.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
