What Your Favorite "Sex and the City" Character Says About You

If you’ve ever found yourself watching "Sex and the City" and putting yourself in one of Carrie Bradshaw’s many pairs of amazing shoes, you might think you already know which character is most like you. What you might not realize is that the characters you might idolize the most might not end up being as similar to you as you think.

Charlotte York

If you’re a hopeless romantic and/or perfectionist, you’re most definitely a Charlotte. You’re always thinking of the best in people and yourself. You have a very positive outlook on life and are not one to give up on anything you’re striving to accomplish. You can be naive at times, which can lead you into relationships that you’re not meant for. Your sweet, easy-going disposition makes you someone people want to be around. Oh, and your favorite designers are probably Kate Spade, Ann Taylor or Tory Burch.

Samantha Jones

You are most likely a wild child, for a lack of a better term, who is always up for a good time. You will never turn down a night out on the town to potentially meet new people. When it comes to men, you do not discriminate – the younger the better, actually. You’re not one for long-term, steady relationships because you like to play the field and keep your options open. Your wise and confident attitude makes others comfortable following your lead. You can be a little self-centered at times but you’re always someone your friends can count on.

Miranda Hobbes

You’re the most practical out of your group of friends. You’re the go-to girl when your friends are in trouble because they can count on you for the most logical answer. You’re a calming force when others get caught up in the drama. You can be a little too blunt or direct at times but your heart is in the right place. Although you have a relaxed personality, you do have a wild side at times too. An ideal night for you consists of wine, sweatpants and your best friends.

Carrie Bradshaw

Hello miss ringleader! Your unique personality tends to draw people to you. You are your own person when it comes to your unconventional style and attitude. Your image is important to you but you’re always true to yourself. Shopping is more than a past time to you; it’s a way of life. You are a firm believer that a shopping trip can cure anything. When you’re in a relationship, you give it your absolute all. You’re open-minded when it comes to men so having a certain “type” doesn’t apply to you. Anyone would be lucky to have a friend like you because of your big heart and positive attitude.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
