What Your Coffee Order Says About You

But first, coffee.

Whether it's working, studying, or just relaxing with a nice drink, most people turn to coffee to get through a long day. Coffee's benefits include making you feel happier, more intelligent, and less stressed. So when you want some coffee, which kind do you get?

1. Iced or Regular Black Coffee

You have tons of work to do and you need that caffeine to help you do it all. When you're waiting in line to get your coffee, you roll your eyes at all the frilly, girly drinks you hear being ordered.

You have a lab you need to get to, hours of studying to do, an intramural game you need to win, not to mention trying to make time for friends and family, too.

You clearly do not have time for a caramel drizzle and whipped cream. The sleepless bags under your eyes are trophies, and while you know you look like you need to be hooked up to a caffeine IV, you don't care. Bonus points if, when you order, you also ask for a shot of espresso.

2. Frappuccino

You are one of those people who has yet to learn how to fully “adult.” Or you’re literally a still a teenager. You probably have trouble making serious life decisions and you’re definitely reading this so you can continue to procrastinate whatever work you have to do.

It’s understandable, we've all fallen for the charm of a frappuccino at one point, but then we all turned sixteen and moved on to bigger and better drinks.

Adulting is hard and caffeine can be scary, because it technically is a drug, but eventually you probably need to put on your big girl pants and order something stronger.

3. The Finals Week Drinker

You never really regularly drink coffee. That is, until finals week or a stressful work week rolls around. You can be found in the library, headphones in, with five or six coffee cups littering your study space.

You know how to get your work done, and if it means caffeine jitters at 2 a.m. then you're willing to do it. More power to you for doing whatever it takes to get your work done.

4. Seasonal Drinks

You live for fall and winter because that's when the best drinks are available. It doesn't matter how many people make fun of pumpkin spice lattes, because to you PSLs are life.

You don't care when people call you "basic," because who cares? Enjoy your latte while you can, and then spend all of the spring waiting for your favorite season to return.

5. Tea

You read on Facebook one time that tea releases its caffeine over time and keeps you from being jittery, and ran with it.

Drinking tea is relaxing and there are so many different flavors and options for tea, so you never get bored with your drink.

When you order your drink at your hipster coffee shop, everyone knows you are so cool. If someone saw you wearing army pants and flip flops, they would wear army pants and flip flops.

6. "I Don't Drink Coffee"

Either you can't handle the taste of coffee, which is a shame because it's wonderful, or you don't need the caffeine to survive.

Granted, you don't have to deal with Starbuck's overpriced drinks, the painful headaches that come with caffeine withdrawal, and reliance on a beverage to wake you up, but my one question to you is, how do you get through each day without coffee?

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
