After watching pep supper and seeing the sorority with The Cheetah Girls theme, I was inspired to rewatch the old Disney movie and let's just say I was not disappointed.
1. Friends stick together
The sisterhood between the cheetah girls is incredible and it makes me appreciate all my girlfriends. The movie shows how it is normal to fight with your closest friends, what's important is that you stick together at the end of the day and always have each other's back.
2. Struggling with self confidence is okay
Sabrina struggles with her identity throughout the movie and she feels unwanted because she is in the foster system and was given up by her real mom. This struggle is something that many kids can relate to. We learn that you don't have to be related to being family. The cheetah girls are her family, it just takes her some time to realize that.
3. Be confident in yourselfÂ
Raven continually sticks up for herself in the movie and she never doubts herself for a minute. She believes in herself and her abilities. Self-confidence is very important in life and we should all try to be more confident in ourselves.
4. Embrace your differencesÂ
All the cheetah girls are very different; different races, different styles, different personalities but this is what makes them so great. They embrace their differences which makes them betters one big family
5. It's good to let loose
The movie teaches us to stay true to ourselves but it also emphasizes that you need to let loose and just lives your life. The cheetah girls do this through singing and dancing, it's up to us to decide how to let loose in our own life.
The Cheetah Girls movie is a must watch for all ages. Despite it being a 2000s Disney movie, it teaches lessons everyone can learn from.
