"Netflix" is a seven letter word that means procrastinating and losing sleep. The most wonderful creation of our time is both a blessing and a curse. It's a curse because it keeps us from getting anything done, including laundry, homework, and sleeping and it's a blessing because it provides us with hours of entertainment.

Have you ever had trouble looking for the perfect series to binge watch until 4:00 in the morning? Fear not, there is a system to it. Once you've watched one show, this is exactly how to transition to the next.

1. "Gossip Girl"

Blair, Dan, Serena, Nate, and Chuck come before anyone. You start watching "Gossip Girl" because there isn't one person on Earth who has watched it all the way through and described it as anything less than life-changing.

2. "90210"

You've finished "Gossip Gir"l and you're looking for the next best thing. "90210" is like the Beverly Hills version of "Gossip Girl."

3. "One Tree Hill"

The best justification for watching a show centered around basketball is that it was on the CW. If the CW Network made "Gossip Girl" and "90210," then they obviously know what they're doing

4. "Friday Night Lights"

After saying goodbye to Nathan Scott, you decide to make the switch from basketball to football.

5. "Grey's Anatomy"

You've finally given in to the persuasion that you should watch "Grey's." At first you don't think that you can make a 12 season commitment to a show, but you soon realize that it's totally worth it.

6. "Scandal"

After spending half of your life going through the emotional highs and lows of "Grey's Anatomy," you are now strong enough to experience Olivia Pope and her "fixing."

7. "How To Get Away With Murder"

Shonda Rhimes has ruined your life plenty of, but now you're addicted to her mind blowing plot lines.

8. "Friends"

Everyone needs to watch "Friends" at some point in their life in order to remain relevant. After "Grey's Anatomy," "Scandal," and "How To Get Away With Murder" played with your emotions too much, you need a funny series to refresh.

9. "Private Practice"

Since you've been going through "Grey's" withdraws while waiting on the new season to return, you decide to catch up on what Addison Montgomery is doing.

10. "How I Met Your Mother"

"Friends" changed your view of Netflix and now you are prone to liking funny sitcoms.

11. "Parks and Recreation"

Now you're hooked on funny shows and you relate to Ron Swanson more than any other character that you've ever watched.

12. "The Office"

There's no going back to the drama, heartbreak, and action of primetime television now that you're addicted to the of world happiness and laughter.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
