Let me first start off by saying thank you. Thank you for being the absolutely wonderful person you are. I have never once doubted our friendship, even when we haven't talked for months. You may or may not know this but your friendship means more to me than I could even explain. And since I can’t explain fully this letter is my best attempt. Meeting you years ago I never thought you’d become one of the most important people in my life. You’ve dealt with me throughout our entire high school career and somehow deal with me now in college now, even at a different school.
Your personality is contagious! How did I get so lucky to snag such an incredible best friend? Not for a single moment have I ever considered you less than that. How could I? You are one of the most genuine and good hearted people I have ever came across. You’ve showed me how caring unconditionally for any and everyone is a beautiful thing. I can’t think of a single moment where you didn't offer up help to someone who needed it, even if it meant canceling plans and staying in on a weekend or your breaks home from school.
We share so many inside jokes too. And who would be a better person to share so many jokes with than you? One of the best things about sharing these multitude of jokes with you is how hard you laugh at them, even years later. And you, my friend, have a laugh that can put a smile on anyone’s face- I have to laugh after hearing you.
You are so laid back and easy going- always wanting to go along for the journey. I can’t think of a time where you weren’t up for an adventure. And you enjoy everything! You enjoy life to the absolute fullest extent and can make any experience positive. You’re truly a rockstar in my books and I talk so highly of you to this day because why wouldn’t I? You’re my best friend, my truest friend, and a beautiful soul.
So, to my truest friend, thank you for simply being you. Don’t ever change who you are because you are priceless. Even though we may be miles and miles apart I know I can go to you for anything and everything, just like I’ve always been able to. Cheers to being my partner in crime for years and years to come, and never forget how incredible you are.
