What To Watch Over Spring Break
Shetraveled.com

If you're like me, you're spending spring break chilling at home and in bed. If you're stuck in bed and bored this break, here are some must watches on Netflix while you're on break:

1. "Parks and Rec".

If you ask me what you should watch on Netlfix, this is always my first answer. It's my favorite show and everyone should watch it. It's funny and Leslie Knope is truly motivational.

2. "Shameless".

If you still haven't watched this show, you need to. It seems like recently everyone has been watching it, because it is so amazing. You'll laugh and cry with the Gallaghers.

3. "Jane the Virgin".

A lot of times people will hear the title of this show and roll their eyes and brush it off. However, this show is amazing if you sit down and watch it. It's funny, serious and incredibly entertaining.

4. "Santa Clarita Diet".

Another zombie show? Trust me, I had doubts about this show also. But, it's 10 episodes and very funny if you give it a chance. I found myself laughing at this and easily finished it on a lazy Sunday.

5. "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt".

This show is set to return soon, so this is the perfect time to binge it. It's witty and very funny. Also, it has a very catchy theme song.

6. "A Series of Unfortunate Events".

Here's a throwback to your childhood and a really amazing show to watch. Even though the series is very unfortunate, it is very well done and there is actually quiet a bit of humor to it.

7. "Scandal".

Honestly, I've been loving "Scandal" more then "Grey's Anatomy" lately. Olivia Pope is a true queen and the first few seasons are amazing. You'll be on the edge of your seat and unable to stop watching.

8. "Stranger Things".

If you still haven't seen this, now is your time. I admit, it took me a long time to finally watch it, but it's so amazing. The kids are amazing actors and the story really makes you think.

9. "Love".

This show is funny and also dramatic as it follows the main characters and their relationship. If you love watching about love and relationships, this is perfect for you.

10. "One Tree Hill".

It's a classic teen drama. Trust me, if you haven't seen it yet, you'll love it. Plus, Nathan Scott is a dream guy.

11. "Bob's Burgers".

If you're looking for something that will keep you laughing nonstop, this show is perfect for you.

12. "New Girl".

Another feel good comedy. You'll be laughing and falling in love with these characters.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
