There are many things that I am thankful during this time of the year. Most days I do not think about the things that I would not know what I would do without. So, I think it is important to be thankful for everything that is a part of my life or that was part of my life because all those things are making me who I am today and who I will be in the future.
1. Parents
I am thankful for my parents. They are constantly doing things for me even when I am way for school. They are my biggest support system that I have and they are always encouraging me to go after my dreams and to not give up. I am glad that I have a close bond with me and that I can look at them as one of my friends because they always seem to know to what to say to me.

I am thankful for being able to be a big sister to two amazing siblings. Having my siblings makes me work harder to go after my dreams because I want to be able to be a good role model. Also, I am more than thankful that I am best friends with my siblings and that I am able to get that relationship close even when I am way for school.
3. Grandparents
My grandparents mean so much to me. They always willing to go the extra mile to see me and to make sure that I am enjoying my life. My thankful for all the quality time that I have spent with them either at their house, on vacation with them, or at dinner with them. I'm thankful that my grandparents are really involved in my life.

I am thankful that I have the ability to continue my education at college. I am thankful that I am able to study the program that I want. I am also thankful for all the resources that I have to help me understand how to use my degree in the future. I am thankful for all the teachers that pushed me in high school and all the teachers that are pushing me now in college to continue chasing my dreams.
6. Being able to express myself
I am thankful that I am able to be who I want to be. I am glad that I am able to have my own opinions on how I want my life to be and that I am able to be in control. I am also glad that I am able to express myself through tattoos and piercings and not being told that I can't have those or being judged too much for having them.
7. Concerts
I am thankful for all the concerts that I have attended and that I will attend in the future. That is because it has taught me to appreciate things that most people do not get the chance to do. I am thankful that I am able to spend money to go relax and not worry about my stress for a night of watching my favorite artist perform or even learning about new artists too.
8. Movie Nights
I am thankful that I am able to have movie nights with friends and family. That I am able to relax and just spend quality time with my love ones as we relax and watch a movie.
9. Friends
I am very thankful for my friends. I am even thankful for all the friends that I use to have. I am thankful that I am able to still communicate with some of my friends and that I am to have them as part of my support system. I am thankful that I found friends who would do anything for me to have a good life and would out of their way to make sure that happens.
10. Books to read
I am thankful for a good book to read that it is not related to textbooks. I am thankful for the ability to get lost in a book and feel like I am part of the story as I read it.
11. The Life that I have
I am thankful for the life that I have. It has not been perfect but everything has been worth it. There has been great lessons that I have learned in my life. There are things in my life that helped shaped me to be the person that I am today and that I will be in the future.
We should be thankful for everything that we have in our life everyday instead of the time around Thanksgiving.
