I am someone who loves to shop. If I have an excuse I’m out to the mall or to my nearest department store. To me shopping is not only a good social with friends but it’s a cure to feeling down and this is how I know that I’m addicted.
Shoes, shoes, shoes. Wedges, booties, flats, pumps, sandals, sneakers you name it I love it. I am completely and utterly obsessed with shoes. To be honest I don’t feel complete without the perfect pair of kicks. You can dress yourself in anything but if you’re not wearing the right swag on your feet, you and, your outfit are not complete.
Shoes are your chance to show you. Ok you could be wearing the same Brandi dress as every other girl at your school but are they rocking it with the sandals you got last year when you went to Greece, or those awesome Vans you’ve had since 8th grade. The answer is no.
In no way do your shoes identify who you are but often can tell a lot about a person by what they're wearing on their feet. Not how much money they have and all the materialistic stuff, but who they are, what they enjoy doing, and what makes them who they are.
Whether your shoes are scuffed, stained and ripped or new, fresh and so clean, they are a way to tell others a bit about you.
Here is what some shoes may say about you:
Sandals: A classic sandal is your best friend, your down to earth, care about comfort but also love the beach life.
Vans/Converse/Keds: You adventurous, and fun loving and love these shoes because you can literally wear them anywhere and with anything.
Uggs: Comfort is your number one priority all you need is your sweats or leggings. Just because this is your go to outfit it doesn’t mean you’re basic, you basically just care about comfort.
Heels: You mean business.
Wedges: You want to wear heels but want to look like you can walk, so you opt for the easier option.
Booties: You want to add a little spice to your outfit as well as casually look taller so you add some pep in your step with a bootie.
Boots: You want your pumpkin spice latte right now. Your ready to wear oversized clothes, be comfy and not try. Let fall and winter begin.
