What 'Shameless' Character You Are Based On Your Tallahassee Bar Of Choice

I'll catch you and Ian at Recess this Tuesday!

I'm just like you, I binge watched Shameless over one Christmas break and now I can be seen wearing a #gallavich shirt, defending Fiona to any slut shamers, and attending AA meetings looking for Lip. So naturally, I feel it is my duty to report to you all what Shameless character you are based solely on where go out in Tallahassee. I'd like to be the first to say...

Standard: Fiona Gallagher.

Think Fiona Season 1: you go out to party, it's as simple as that. Whether you're taking shots at the bar, dancing in VIP, or just raging in the sea of people, the loud music and fog filled air is your idea of a successful Thursday. Not to mention, you're not afraid to swing at anyone who bumps into you one too many times.

Palace Saloon: Frank Gallagher.

The cigarette scent that lingers on your skin after you leave should have been a sign that you would be branded the Frank of the group. You like to drink, you like to tell stories, and brainstorm ideas, and maybe even hustle a game of pool or two. The smell and gritty group of people doesn't push you away, it draws you in.

Pots: Lip Gallagher.

No one can figure you out! You seem to have a lot going for you and you're oddly charming, but then again the only predictable thing about you is that your friends can always find you at the beer garden double fisting with an open tab.

Recess: Ian Gallagher.

It's not just that the steps to the bander make you think of the stairway to heaven, it's the music, it's the pool, the lights, the cabanas, and couches that keep you coming back for more. Finishing a Y-Bomb and thriving on the dance floor is penciled in every Tuesday, along with meeting your latest Tinder match at the outside bar.

Bajas: Debbie Gallagher.

TENN: Carl Gallagher.

You're honestly the schemer of the group. Don't worry, you'll figure it out at some point just like Carl does, but for now, you can be seen at TENN, throwing napkins, grinding a little bit, and swooping a girl by buying her McDonald's next door.

Also, the image of Carl (when he first gets out of juvie) jumping around in one of TENN's VIP booths after Happy Hour would be iconic.

Ken's: Veronica.

Just like V, you're mature and sometimes the voice of reason for others, yet also outgoing and irrational. You love being able to sing along to songs at Ken's, stand on the walls, write on the ceiling, and bring your mug for drink deals (because going out every night really adds up).

Pub: Kevin.

Pool tables, darts, huge beers, sometimes even a live band?! Pub has Kevin's (and your) name all over it. Whether your screaming to Blink182 or stomping your boots to country music, you give it your all. You're a social butterfly willing to bet a drink on a game of darts and befriend the bartender.

Painted: Svetlana Milkovich.

You're a mix between the fun side of Fiona and the sneaky side of Frank, you're a combination of Lip's smarts and Mickey's thug attitude. If you're an upperclassman, you've swam in the Recess pool, signed the toilet in Ken's, and slipped in Derd; now you're just looking for a judge free place with plastic cups and bars everywhere you turn. No one knows when or if you'll graduate, but at least the staff feels like family at this point (similarly to The Alibi Room.)

Where ever your BF/GF is: Mickey Milkovich.

Lets face it, Ian wore the pants in their relationship, and if your significant other is also el jefe than you'll be where ever they are, but I still appreciate you reading!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
