Sisters are a very complicated thing; at times, your sister can be your absolute best friend, while at others, you could absolutely loathe being around her. Most people only have the pleasure of interacting with their sibling at home. But, if you're like me, you get to go to college with your sibling, too. Please allow me to shed some light into what it’s like going to school with your sibling.
Your Mom knows things about your experience at school that you really wish she didn’t.
From your late nights binge drinking to your random hookups, your mother magically seems to know everything there is to know about your social life at school... Funny how that works.
Your closet size doubles.
One of the worst parts of living in a dorm is the restricted closet space. When your sister goes to school with you, you can take a mini shopping trip in her closet and always count on leaving with some fre$h clothes for class.
There’s always someone to order GrubHub with.
Desperately want some Chinese food but you don’t meet the delivery minimum? Just call up your sister and ask her how many eggrolls she wants. Having a sister at school means that you never have to be lonely while regretfully eating that lo mein.
She can help you Facebook stalk that cute boy that you met at that party.
She might even know a thing or two about him, if you’re lucky. Best case scenario, they'll have a class together and she'll take creeper shots of him in his natural habitat and Snapchat them to you.
You’ll always have somewhere to go on a Friday night.
Whenever your friends are being lame and “studying” on a Friday night, you can always tag along with your sister to the parties. Plus, you’ll be sure to get some adorable Insta pics.
You’ll probably hook up with some of the same people.
It’s a small campus. It happens. It’s kinda awkward, but you’ll get over it.
No matter what happens you know you’ll have someone there for you to back you up in any situation.
Because sisters are the ultimate squad members and you’re so lucky to have them with you when you’re away from home.
