What Is The Meaning of Life?

I really struggled to find out what I should write about this week, but when I really started evaluating what has been going on in my personal life it wasn't so hard anymore. Last weekend I had the privilege of going home to my family, friends, and my doggo for fall break. I got to see some of the people I love the most and my heart was so full. Taking 14 hours of classes, being in a sorority, VPC of s.a.m. club, and managing a work study has really gotten the best of me this semester some days. It is quite easy to get bogged down with the negatives of every situation, but coming home and being surrounded with love makes every negative thought disappear.

Fall break was a dream in 4 days. Beginning with Friday, I was able to spend some quality time at my mom's salon and just talk about life with her then ran into my best friend and her family that afternoon. That night I had the privilege of going to Fall for Greenville with my Dad. We ate good food, ran into family, and listened to the band Craving Melon. Saturday morning, I went to breakfast with my girls then my family and I went to a family friend's wedding. We danced and had tons of fun together. Sunday I got to roam around the craft store with Sarah, which is our favorite pass time. Monday nights are a serious time for my mom, aunt, and now Josh and myself. Although Josh was not able to attend my mom, aunt, and I hosted a watch party for the part 1 tell all of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way. Tuesday was the close of my fall break, but it was nice to get back to campus and see my boyfriend who had been away at a golf tournament.

I think when life does not seem to be going quite the way we want it to we get in a negative state of mind. If we stop to really appreciate the little things in our life that keep us going, it's not so bad all the time. It is so refreshing to be able to go home and be surrounded by the ones who pour the love into you and make you feel like every little thing is going to be alright.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
