What is Real?

Are we living in a fabricated society?

What is Real?

Right now, you have the power.

You can choose to keep reading this, or you can choose to turn away. You can see your life for what it truly is, or you can keep on living with what you think it is.

How can we know if society, or this world around us, is real?

What is real?

We exist in this fabrication we call society, surrounded by people who are seemingly becoming less and less authentic.

The goal becomes more and more for oneself to benefit while others suffer. Yet we fail to realize that the suffering of others ultimately leads to suffering of ourselves.

Those that care nothing of the future of us all exploit all of us in secret. While it is quite obvious, we are blind to it. We are essentially brought into life, and then slowly clubbed to death. We are completely unaware to the idea that we are dying.

Spiritually we may already be dead. Individuals claim the glory of God, yet most all have no interpretation of God. They were merely given an interpretation by those who claimed to understand what cannot be understood. By using their interpretations, we merely become an agent of the system of misunderstanding.

It cannot not be understood in our conventional ways of thinking, because it is our conventional way of thinking. The very thing that we need in it is the very thing itself.

So then, what can we do?

We have to choose, choose to be The One. When Neo sees the Oracle in The Matrix he finds out he is not The One. The chosen few that stand up against the system are not inherently chosen. They are only chosen when they themselves choose to stand.

Then it comes down to the ultimate choice, choice itself. Choosing not to choose is still choosing. The individual is responsible for choices. Regardless of all things in existence, the individual must choose.

What we can do now becomes clear. What must be done is those that choose to exploit us, endanger our future and future generations, must be held accountable. We must tell them, No. We must tell them that what they’re doing is not alright.

Should we fail to speak out and let them sacrifice the world’s future so that they can excessively lead an unnecessary life of acquisition and waste, then a precedent is created.

This precedent exists today, for it has come to us through the evolution of society. But now in this time, we seem to live in a technological simulation. A time when people try to be what they themselves see in their photos that they post on social media. A world where we become less human by trying to become something that we think others want us to be.

Ultimately it all comes down to choice, choosing who you will be. It is like a war, one that everyone is a part of. Some people willfully defend the side of ignorance by choosing not to choose.

There is only understanding, and ignorance. Between these two lie all things that will ever exist.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
