Through time money has always seemed to be a major factor in our world. It helps feed our families, pay for treatments and drugs, and even at times, it is used as means to have an enjoyable time doing whatever we desire with it. It is alone unfortunately the only way to get from point A to point B in most situations. What if though there was no more physical money? What if all money was traced? I know I have listed a small amount of benefits that money can have on one person or many, but there are still are a terrible amount of conflicts that also come to play when on the subject of money. Money itself can bring more harm than good sometimes.
In many cases, almost all illegal activity revolves around some sort of end goal or need that could not otherwise be reached by following certain standards in a normal community. Most of the time the goal is money. With that in mind, how great would it be though if all the money you had currently could only be used be your electronic device? Certainly, the chances of your money getting stolen are quite slim at that point, especially if very careful security parameters are put into play. Now with this in mind, I am not saying this would end all crime all together but it would be a major blow to certain crime syndicates who transport illegal funds from one place to the other. By making this initiative possible it would render all paper money and coin worthless. Thus, breaking these unruly groups from the inside without even having to step in.
Another positive in this new system would be that everyone would forcibly have to pay their taxes accordingly to their due date and any other sort of debt they owe in equalized to that. This sort of practice would finally have all major businesses be pushed to make their taxes on time. For so long many have gotten away with this and has caused major ramifications especially in the United States. For workers, this also means getting the money they truly deserve for their commitment to their business no matter what state the business is currently in.
The only minor catastrophe though there could be that I could see is the popularity of such a movement could also bring on an increase in hacking as well. Hackers nowadays have become noticeable to the eyes of many. This is sure to be a factor for many ages to come so long as we continue to advance everything at our disposal with new developments in technology. Though the certainty of this being an absolute is without question for sure. Hackers can make a wonderful ally so that fending off other hackers is less of a challenge. In some cases even today many hackers are getting paid to assist companies and people alike to fight against any and all who wish to steal what is theirs.
Though this may seem to be nothing more than a simple what if. I assure that this type of banking style is coming into effect very soon in the future. While some might be sceptical to this idea others I would hope would take this with serious thought and welcome it.
