When you go to college you will meet so many amazing new people. They will be start to be the friends you talk to on a daily basis about everything. But no matter what home friends will always be there for you.

1. When you are home together its like you never left.

The first two minutes you see each other you will practically be in tears from happiness. However, soon enough you will all be sitting around on your phones.

2. Their new school friend will be your friends home friend.

Jewish geography is real. Everyone will be friends with each other which makes it fun to all hang out together when you come back.

3. Anytime they mention somebody new, you immediately look them up and learn everything about them.

You know they will come up in their stories a lot so you have to learn who they are.

4. You might not talk as often, but the conversations you do have are more meaningful.

You are going to be genuinely interested in what is going on in their life and want to know everything.

5. Through facetimes, their friends will slowly become your friends.

You will always meet their friends over facetime, and soon enough they will have heard everything going on in your life and you have heard all about them.

6. You get jealous when they call their new friend their "best friend"

I refuse to be replaced.


Distance can seem scary at first. You go from seeing each other almost daily to not seeing them for months at a time. Despite how many miles are between you and your friends, your relationship will continue to get stronger because you realize how much they mean to you.
