Females, ladies, biddies, chicks, honeys, girls - whatever way you put it, girls are the most feared topic among millennial men.

Ask any average, college-aged man to list his top ten fears. You'll probably get a lot of the basic answers, like death, heights, commitment, car accidents, blah blah blah. Somewhere on that list, however, I guarantee you'll find girls.

Boys don't like to admit it, but they don't know everything. Girls are these mysterious beings who wander around the planet doing girly things. Boys have no idea, however, what these girly things are. Don't believe me? Here's a few things that boys literally think we do on a daily basis, based on the actual answers from men across the Slippery Rock University campus.

When you're done here, make sure you check out What Girls Think Guys Do vs. What Guys Actually Do!

1. What do girls do in the morning?

Boy's answer: When girls wake up in the morning, they look at themselves in the mirror, shower, brush their hair and teeth, put on some eyeshadow and get dressed. Unless they're going out, then they curl their hair or straighten it or something. It probably takes them like 30 or 40 minutes.

Girl's reality: I thought this one was funny. Let's start at the beginning. The mirror thing is pretty accurate, but the key word here is "shower." It's cute that you think we shower every day. That just means buying the expensive brand of dry shampoo is really paying off. Also, there's much, much more that goes into getting ready than that. It's exhausting. You guys are so lucky, ugh.

2. How often do girls shave their legs?

Boy's answer:
Girls shave their legs once a week.

Girl's reality: If girls shaved their legs only once a week, we wouldn't have to wear pants. It's like how dogs have fur.

3. How do girls achieve the "natural look?"

Boy's answer: The natural look? That just means they don't put on any makeup.

Girl's reality: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA YEAH OKAY

4. How much do girls eat?

Boy's answer:
Girls eat half as much as guys. But they only eat Chipotle or salads.

Girl's reality: This couldn't be further from the truth. Girls eat just as much, if not more, than guys. And although we do love Chipotle, we can usually only afford Taco Bell. Besides, we have many more interests than that, like Arby's and Olive Garden.

5. What do girls do to get ready for bed?

Boy's answer: When girls get ready for bed, they just put on pajamas and text a lot until they fall asleep.

Girl's reality: Again, there's an entire process to getting ready for bed. You have no idea.

6. What do girls do in the shower?

Boy's answer: When girls shower, they wash their hair, put some conditioner in it, dry off and then get dressed and put on makeup.

Girl's reality: Have you ever wondered why girls take so long in the shower? Truthfully, half of the time it's either because we fall asleep or because we don't want to talk to you. The other half of the time it's because we have a lot to do. If we're only going to shower once every few days, it better be good.

7. What do girls do with their friends

Boy's answer: When girls are with their friends, they have sleepovers, talk a lot and complain about boys.

Girl's reality: We do complain about boys a lot, but with good reason. Other than that, we really don't do much besides sit around an entire box of pizza and try to figure out how to use the new Snapchat update to make it look like Guy Fieri is vomiting rainbows on the TV.

8. How long do girls take to pick their outfits?

Boy's answer: Girls spend hours trying to find an outfit to wear when they're going out.

Girl's reality: Um, no. We usually run to Target that day to pick out a new outfit so we can avoid the time wasted rummaging through our roommates' closets. We're smarter than that.

9. What are girls' shopping habits like?

Boy's answer: Girls always buy things they don't need.

Girl's reality:Ahem...what?

10. Do girls fart?

Boy's answer:
Girls don't fart.

Girl's reality: This one is true.

11. What do girls do when they have their period?

Boy's answer: When girls have their periods, they "put on tampons," eat a lot of chocolate and yell.

Girl's reality: This one is cute. Props for trying.

12. What are girls' dating habits like?

Boy's answer: Girls always play hard to get.

Girl's answer: Conceited, much? When we don't text you back for a while, it's not because we're trying to wait the perfect amount of time that makes you wonder. It's because we probably fell asleep or are really busy shoving food into our face. We need two hands for that.

Let's face it, boys are clueless. That's nothing new I suppose. Naturally, however, they fear the unknown. The foreign nature of girls is what scares boys. Like I said, they'll never admit it. They'll continue to harbor false notions of what actually goes through girls' minds. No worries though, we get it. Boys and girls are entirely different creatures, it would be impossible to expect these two creatures to interact perfectly, knowing they barely even speak the same language. So keep trying, boys, maybe one day you'll figure it out.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
