Westford, Massachusetts is a special place. From Hitchingpost all the way to Nab lake, this town has given me a special and unforgettable hometown. It's safe to say only people who grew up here understand how special a place it is, but for the rest of you, here's a drinking game that highlights all the best (and worst) parts of this town. Cheers!

  1. Take a shot every time you go to WHOP and get a buff chic calzone (double shot if you get a chicken finger, cajun fry, mozzarella stick because you're that kinda person)
  2. Chug every time you see a cop in WHOP when you get said calzone
  3. Take a shot for every time you go to Kimball's
  4. Take a double shot for every person you know that you see at Kimball's
  5. Take a shot for every friend you have that works at Kimball's
  6. Take a shot for every friend you have that works at Market Basket
  7. Take a shot for every hour you spend driving around with your friends figuring out what to do that night
  8. Take a shot every time you jump off the Quarry
  9. Take a shot every time you visit WA
  10. Take a shot every time you see a cop parked at either Four Corners, Stony Brook Acres, Dunks on route 40, Drew Farm, or any of their other usual spots
  11. Take a shot every time you see someone gets pulled over (Double shot if it's someone you know)
  12. Take a shot for every party you've been to at 16 Flagg rd
  13. Take a shot every time you go to either Mario's or Paul's
  14. Take a shot for every night you spend at McDonald's because there's nothing else to do
  15. Take a shot every time you see someone you graduated with while at McDonald's
  16. Take a shot for every day you spend on Nab Lake, Forge Pond, Edwards beach, East Boston Camps, or Summer Village
  17. Chug for every night you are forced to drink in your friends' basements, in the woods, or any other sketchy locations around town
  18. Chug for every party that gets busted by Westford cops
  19. Take a shot for every Audi, Range Rover, or BMW in the WA parking lot
  20. Take a shot for every time your college friends make fun of your school mascot
  21. Take a shot every time someone asks you if you went to a private school
  22. Chug every time you hear someone say "Fuck AB"
  23. And finally, take a shot if you're proud to be from the 01886

Every town has their special rights-of-passage, fun things to do and quirks. Hopefully, you can get a better look at Westford, MA with this fun drinking game!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

19 Lessons I'll Never Forget from Growing Up In a Small Town

There have been many lessons learned.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
