WBC paid the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee a visit last Thursday and students were ready to drown out the hate.

Westboro Baptist Church traveled to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee last Thursday to share their hateful prerogative with Wisconsin's most LGBT-friendly campus. WBC is well-known for traveling across the country and delivering their crude hate speech against the LGBT community, the religion of Islam, the practice of Catholicism, American soldiers and politicians. Earlier this year, Westboro Baptist Church celebrated the terrorist attack on the Orlando gay night club that resulted in the death of 49 people and the injuries of 53 others.

Determined to prevent WBC from spreading their malicious words unchallenged, UWM students were prepared to drown out their hate.

Below are a few snapshots of the protest.

Despite receiving copious amounts of hate and antagonism, UWM students continued to spread nothing but love.
