As an American culture we often romanticize the generations of years past. I have heard countless times the infamous phrase, "I was definitely born in the wrong generation." I myself have even said this phrase. Sometimes I imagine myself as a better fit if I were a teen in the 1960s. I mean, it was a prime time for two of my favorite music genres, folk and soul. Teens were actually unified in one group and actually were on the forefront of a social revolution. That's hard to contrast to the present because we feel like all our social justice is fought on the internet and in all reality it doesn't seem to do anything productive. So, why shouldn't we wish we were born in a different generation?
Trees have always given our ecosystem oxygen. Some insects have always served the purpose of being pollinators for plants. Rain has always helped grown plants from seeds. Every part of nature is deeply intertwined with one another. If one part was removed, the butterfly effect would play in and the rest would crumble.
The human body is one of the most complex aspects of nature. So it can be assumed that there is a purpose that the person is there. There is a reason you are here, you might not feel it is the best time for you, but there are people out there who need help. There will always be a way to serve purpose. You might not be able to see the full picture of why you're here, but there is a reason.
Proverbs 16:4- The Lord has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble.
