During the beginning of the semester, your main goal is a balance between school, social life, family and friends, a job, and yourself. When the mid-end arrives, you want nothing more than for it to be over, because that balance has been completely destroyed by breakdowns and all-nighters, trying to figure out how many points you need on an exam to pass the class. Here are some feelings we all experience during the end of the semester.
- When you realized you haven’t called your mom in two weeks.
- Realizing you have two weeks to do literally everything you’ve been putting off since midterms.
- Trying to hang out with your friends and study.
- Looking like a bum going to class because you just don’t care.
- Seeing other people cry and you know why, because they sit behind you in the same class.
- Thinking to yourself, “is this all really worth it?”
- Wondering if your teachers are really Satan and have a rock band together.
- Trying to finish all your homework over Thanksgiving break, but realizing you can’t because it's break, and you don’t deserve to stress on a Holiday when you could be consuming all the turkey in the world.
- Coming to terms with the fact that dead week is a complete myth.
- When the semester ends and you have a whole month before you have to do it all over again.
