Going to a Catholic high school was overall a great experience, but moving from a religious high school to a secular university was a bit weird. There are just some things that are normal within the bubble of a small Catholic school that aren't normal in the real world. It was definitely an adjustment, but I wouldn't change it for the world.
1. Dressing Yourself
Wearing a uniform was actually pretty convenient. I've been in college for over a full semester, and I still haven't gotten the hang of wearing normal clothes.

2. Not Praying Seven Times a Day
In my high school, we would pray at the beginning and ending of the day before every class (even gym) and before lunch. It's weird to start class without praying.
3. Not Being Forced to go to Mass
If I want to go to church, I have to make myself go.
4. Not Taking Theology Classes
Maybe your university has a humanities requirement, but it usually isn't specifically a religious studies requirement at a secular university. It's nice to focus all of my energy on academic classes rather than theology classes.
5. Meeting People of Many Different Religions
Throughout my time in Catholic school, I didn't meet that many people of other religions. Going to college changed that drastically. I just assumed that people were catholic or at least Christian, which is not true at all. Meeting all of these new people has helped me learn
6. People Talking Openly About (GASP!) Sex
In high school, sex was never talked about as anything other than bad. I was never taught about birth control except that it is ineffective and a sin. In college, they are seminars not only how to have safe sex, but on how to have good sex.
