The Weeknd came to Atlanta on Tuesday, Dec. 15 for 'The Madness Fall Tour'. His two opening acts were artists Travis Scott and Halsey. This concert was nothing short of amazing. The Weeknd announced his tour back in August, and ever since then the days have been filled with anticipation for everyone who was lucky enough to get their hands on a ticket.
The Weeknd came, he saw, and he conquered Atlanta. If you have tickets to see his one of his shows on this tour, then you might not want to keep reading. You want to enjoy every single moment, and I don't want to ruin it for you!
The Weeknd's performance was completely effortless. He entered the arena behind a LED screen that resembled a cage with his band playing behind him. Opening with "Real Life" from his newest album "The Beauty Behind The Madness", he set the tone for the evening.
Travis Scott opened performing songs from Rodeo. He also brought out Young Thug who helped to hype up the crowd even more. After Travis Scott, Halsey came out and killed her performance. After the opening artists, the show began and I didn't sit down for one second and neither will you.
The show included everything from incredible graphics, fire, LED lights and enthusiasm. The Weeknd performed a couple of cover songs from other artists and also bringing out Travis Scott to perform "Anecdote" with him. This was a performance that will not be forgotten.
The Weeknd was dressed in all black and when he spoke it was so smooth. His ability to perform is incredible. This was by far one of the best concerts I have been to. He does not disappoint or let you down at all, instead he completely blows you out of the water with his chilling voice.
If you love The Weeknd as much as I do and you love concerts, you need to get yourself a ticket to see his show.
The Weeknd will be a special guest on Rihanna's 'Anti-World' tour next year.
