As college students many of us are away from our homes and families during the Christmas shopping season. This often makes it difficult to do Christmas shopping and it often gets left to the last minute with you rushing around trying to find the perfect gift out of what is leftover. However, here are a few websites to check out if you want to find that perfect present while having it still arrive on time.

1. Amazon

Of course, a given go-to for ordering online is Amazon. Amazon has truly everything from A to Z but additionally, they have reasonable prices that any college student can afford. Additionally, if you have Amazon Prime, which you can get for 6-months free with any college email, you can get your presents within a few days.

2. Target

Another store to check out online is Target. We all love Target but I didn't realize how much they have online that they do not carry in stores. From cute Christmas ornaments to awesome presents the Target website has everything.

3. TeeFury

For those who love not only t-shirts and crewneck but also love all things geeky, TeeFury is for you. The tshirts are custom made by artists that focus on topics such as Harry Potter, Marvel, DC, Star Trek and more. Even cooler though? They also carry holiday themed Ugly Christmas Crewnecks with designs featuring characters such as Toothless and Deadpool.

4. Subscription Boxes

What to get the person who has everything? A subscription box! These are a great gift idea because you can order a few months at a time for some low prices and there is a subscription box for everything imaginable. Additionally, it will be a gift that they can reuse for however many months you gave!

5. Uncommon Goods

One of my favorite websites that I have discovered as I order Christmas presents online is Uncommon Goods. As the name suggests they have gifts that come from various suppliers and small businesses that range from cutting boards of your favorite state, to coffee mugs with bad dogs on them and my personal favorite, tuned wine glasses. There are presents for everyone and the website is catered to help you search for a person based on their age and more.

While it may be difficult for college students to find that perfect gift, there are certainly ways that allows us to still find that perfect gift for those we love this holiday season.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
