The different kinds of shoes and shoe brands

Shoes are the biggest fashion statement, that I know of. There are so many different kinds of shoes out there. With the technology that we have today, shoes are now becoming different shapes and having different material added to them. As women, we love shoes. That's just us. We love all kinds of shoes as well. From the pump to the tennis shoes. Shoes are what makes our outfits POP! As I stated earlier, shoes are the biggest fashion statement. Now, I'm to talk about what shoes goes with what outfit and the different shoe brands.

1. High Heels, pumps & wedges

Every woman has their favorite pair of heels they love to wear. Heels can be worn at any time of the year. You can wear heels to dress up an outfit. For example: if your wearing sweatpants, you can make your outfit look more dressy by putting on a pair of heels. Wedges are almost the same as heels. But they have a platform wedge to them. Wedges are normally worn in the spring and summer time. Wedges give you a boost in height and make you feel a little bit taller. You can dress wedges up or you can dress wedges down. For example you can wear a pair of wedges with a "going out" dress or you could wear a pair of wedges with a pair of distressed jeans and a graphic tee. The different brands of high heels pumps and wedges are Prada, Valentino, Jessica Simpson, Louboutin, and Giuseppe.

2. Boots/Booties


Boots and booties are in a different category. There are many types of boots or booties. There are combat boots, heel boots, snow boots, rain boots and flat boots. You can dress these boots up or you can dress these boots down.For example, You could wear a pair of heel booties, with a short cocktail dress in the winter. Or you could wear a pair of combat boots, with a pair of boyfriend jeans and a tee. Some of these different types of boots are normally worn in the winter. But, the trend is to wear boots with dresses, skirts, and shorts during the spring and summer time. The different brands of boots and booties are Michael Kors, Alex Mane, Timberland, Steve Madden and Ugg.

3. Sandals & Flip-Flops

Sandals and flip-flops are what everyone is wearing this summer. There are many different types of sandals and flip-flops. You can wear sandals with almost anything and still look dressy. Flip-flops are always going to be the go-to shoes when you're on the go or need to put some shoes on real quick. Sandals and flip-flops are also the go-to shoes for the summer. For example You can throw on a pair of flip-flops to go to the store or a pair of sandals to go the mall. The different brands for sandals and flip-flops are Nine West, Steve Madden, Jessica Simpson and Guess.

4. Sneakers

Sneakers have always been a fashion statement. There are many different kinds of sneakers. You can wear sneakers all year long. People normally don't wear them in the winter. You can dress sneakers up or you can dress them down. Sneakers are another to-go shoe. You can throw them on and go about your day. The different brands of sneakers are Nike, Jordan, New Balance, Reebok, and Adidas.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines.
