I'm always looking for new ways to appreciate the flavor of buffalo sauce. Here are some of my favorites!
Cheesy Buffalo Chicken Bacon Bombs
These cheesy buffalo chicken bacon bombs are quick and easy to prepare – and of course, delicious. They're great to share with friends, especially since they're very filling. Shout out to BuzzFeed Food for the recipe and tutorial video.
Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese
Last year, probably after I came across the idea on the internet, I decided to make buffalo chicken grilled cheese for the first time and it rocked my world.
- Use shredded or cut up chicken, add in as much buffalo sauce as your taste buds can handle (I prefer Frank's Red Hot), and mix in a bowl.
- Prepare the grilled cheese as you would normally, just adding in the buffalo chicken mixture in between the cheese and bread.
You can mix up what kinds of cheese you use – cheddar, mozzarella, blue cheese – whatever your heart desires! You can also add ranch dressing and/or shredded cheese to the buffalo sauce mixture.
Mike's Pizza (Manayunk)
Thank you, Mike's Pizza, for serving me many slices of perfect buffalo chicken pizza. I know I'm not the only Saint Joe's student, or Manayunk resident, that walks in hoping to snag the last piece remaining behind the counter.
Crispy Buffalo Chicken
Crispy buffalo chicken is the best of both worlds – buffalo sauce in the form of a chicken finger. Thanks to a recipe on Andie Mitchell's blog "Can You Stay For Dinner?", I ate homemade crispy buffalo chicken tenders for dinner last weekend.

Buffalo Chicken Dip
Thanks again to BuzzFeed Food, my roommates and I enjoyed buffalo chicken dip on a lazy Sunday afternoon this semester. (Key word here is "lazy"; it's simple to make!)
Snack Factory's Buffalo Wing Pretzel Crisps
Buffalo sauce can even be paired with pretzels! The amount of flavor each bite contains is unreal. Seriously though, I crave these pretzels all the time. If you're a buffalo sauce lover you needed to try them yesterday.
My mom's "secret" buffalo wing recipe
My love of buffalo sauce began with my mom's buffalo wings. I was spoiled early on – I don't think any other buffalo wings even come close to rivaling hers. So I will now bless the internet with her recipe that I recently tried out myself. I was pretty happy with the results!
- Put garlic salt on wings to desire. (I use this generously.)
- Pour ½ cup of white wine and ¼ cup of “Texas Pete buffalo style chicken wing sauce” over wings and let sit for at least 45 minutes before cooking.
- Bake in a cooking sheet at 450 ° for 45 minutes.
- Add ½ cup more sauce and bake in oven for 5 minutes.
