Sometimes summer comes along and you realize you never really planned anything. Sound familiar? If you're like me, I usually stay in Tallahassee most of the summer because I work and take summer classes. Being in town while it is summer does not always mean it has to be boring. There's so many places you can go that are less than 3 hours away and still find a way to beat this summer heat. If you're looking for some things to do for the next six-ish weeks then look no further! Take a look at some of the ideas I have compiled.

Grab a snow cone from Big Easy at Lake Ella.

There are so many different flavors to choose from and you can even get them stuffed too!

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
