I Got Hooked On 'The Proposal' And I'm Not Even Mad

A new TV show that is from the producers of "The Bachelor"? This has got to be amazing right?!?

While I was watching "The Bachelorette" with my friends, we kept seeing commercials for "The Proposal" and it looked super dumb... but I was so intrigued. I got my friends to watch it aaand now I'm hooked! It's basically a condensed version of "The Bachelor," without any contestant drama and people who were rejected from "The Bachelor" franchise!

Now, when I say I'm hooked to this show, I'm not saying its a good show.

It's so dumb its funny! I can't believe this show was created but I find it so hilarious I couldn't help myself by watching it. Now here comes why this is not a good show but it's so dumb you just gotta see it to believe it!

First of all, have these women never practiced walking in their heels before? Come on ladies. Also, I don't think any of them have watched Miss America or any pageant before. One contestant dared to walk down too wide stairs in roller skates.

The contestants NOR the people watching it at home get to see what the mystery man (aka Mike) looks like! I kinda understand why the contestants can't see him but why was I cheated from seeing him? What if the guy was ugly? We need to know!

All the contestants deserved better than to be on this show.

The only contestants that ~I felt~ were clearly moving on were Monica and Jessica. Which was correct since they were the remaining two! Mike and Monica seemed destined to be together when her bubbly personality complimented his goofy side and they both loved dogs and suffered traumatic accidents that changed their lives.

Jessica seemed pretty normal, until it got down to the final two girls and they had to basically convince Mike to marry them. Jessica had her whole family there and vowed to love Mike forever. Wait, what? Yeah, she just met this man and told him she loved him...

SO, it was a no-brainer that he choose... MONICA. Because Monica did not proclaim to love him and just needed an approval from her dog to get engaged to Mike.

So far, Monica and Mike are happy and still engaged! This is a ridiculous, crazy and just a "I can't believe this show actually exist and people really thought this was a good idea" TV show!

Good luck Mike and Monica!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
