We’ve all had this happen at least once a week: You’re walking back from class, in the middle of a conversation with your friend about your classes/how hungry you are/how you don’t have the time for a nap and then you see it. It’s far away, it's on a leash and it’s headed your way. Here are the 30 thoughts you have when you see a dog on campus.

1. Thank god.

2. Do I need permission to pet it?

3. What if they say no?

4. What if they say yes?!

5. What if it's aggressive?

6. Forget it, all dogs are nice.

7. I'm gonna pet this dog no matter what.

8. It's so fluffy I wanna die!

9. This dog is the love of my life. I don't need anything but this dog.

10. Should I steal it?

11. Wait, do I even have time to take care of this dog?

12. Of course I do, it's a dog, I'll make time.

13. OK, how am I gonna steal this dog?

14. It will fit in my backpack.

15. Nevermind, it won't stop shedding.

16. People are gonna think I rolled in dog hair... Gross.

17. This dog smells kinda weird.

18. Oh my god, it's gonna lick my face.

19. This dog sure is cute, but I miss my dog.

20. I wonder if my dog could live in my dorm room?

21. She totally could, she’s small.

22. The dog owner is trying to pull the dog away. I’M NOT DONE YET.

23. OK, I’m defs stealing this dog.

24. This dog wants me to take it home and love it forever.

25. Wait, please don’t leave. I really need this.

26. Noooo! Please, god no. NOOOO.

27. *watches dog walk away*

28. *dog looks back at you and your heart melts*

29. Goodbye, I’ll love you forever.

30. OH MY GOD IS THAT ANOTHER DOG?!

Bruce Springsteen's Top 7 Lyrics

Everything Bruce says in his classic rock songs.

20034
bruce springsteen album cover born in the usa

Anyone who was born and raised in New Jersey (or anywhere really) knows of Bruce Springsteen, whether or not they like him is a whole other situation. I hope that his hundreds of classic rock songs and famous high energy performances, even in his sixties he can put on better concerts than people half his age, are at least recognizable to people of all ages. Love him or hate him (I identify with the former) you have to admit that some of his songs and interviews have inspirational quotes and lyrics.

Marconi Beach

Three years ago, I chose to attend college in Philadelphia, approximately 360 miles away from my small town in New Hampshire.
