For the last month, I’ve spent my time traveling from city to city all over Europe. Over the month I’ve learned so much about life, about myself, about the history of each country, and of course the FASHION.
One thing that fascinated me throughout my travel is how the fashion changed from city to city. Nothing can ever compare to the fashion trends each European country has to offer when no two cities in Europe have the same style. Each and every store I visited seems to match the cities' style and personality in a unique manner.
Although I have never made it to the original Primark located in Ireland, I did visit Primark in Madrid and Vienna. I have to say my first experience walking into the stores was nothing compared to being a part of the grand opening of Primark here in Boston. There’s something different about the U.S. store. I’m not sure if it's the European layout or lettering designs on the walls, or maybe it’s the four stories of fashion picked from an outstanding individual fashion team, or the fact that such an international store picked Boston for its first U.S. location. Whatever it is walking through the doors of Primark Boston made me feel as if I was back in Europe.
As I entered the store I was greeted by striking ripped jeans, which reminded me of Spain. I continued to walk further into the store and began to feel as if I were walking down the streets of Paris and Berlin through the rows and rows of coats. It was unbelievable! I felt as if I was back in Europe. I couldn’t get enough of this exciting and wanderlust feeling I once experienced on my backpacking trip. I went further into the store just to see that the many pattern scarves and jackets brought me back to buildings and canals of Amsterdam.
I made my way up to the others floors and stumbled upon the male section of Primark. I have to say that the men in Europe are the most well-dressed men I have ever seen and now the men in Boston can be, too. A whole section dedicated unique high-fashion staples that every man would love (whether they are into fashion or not).
With fashion week starting in Boston, I have to say the Primark grand opening was a good start to it. Primark is an unbelievable amazing store that makes anyone feel as if they were in Europe shopping. It has everything anyone would want to wear from kids, teens, and adults to even decor for your home at affordable prices.
If you haven’t checked them out, what are you waiting for? This fashion forward store is the new hot spot of Downtown Crossing. It is has also inspired me to return to Ireland to visit the original store.
Check out all of the excitement from the store opening (include a sing-a-long of a Boston favorite!) and my haul, of course!
