Calling all Hoosier Nation to the PINK Nation!
It’s time again for the annual Victoria’s Secret PINK Campus Showdown, a competition between nearly a hundred schools across the nation all vying for the prize of one over-the-top VS PINK party.
Need more specifics?Basically, 99 schools across America will have the opportunity to win. There are five rounds of voting that each last 24 hours. All you have to do is create an account with Victoria’s Secret’s PINK Nation and vote every day. Each vote is a point, and at the end of the fifth day the school with the most points will be rewarded with a huge Victoria’s Secret PINK party.
And if you’re feeling extra competitive, you can also participate in the Photo Blitz.
Every day of the competition a different challenge will be revealed at 3 p.m. You will have one hour to send in your photos of the completed challenge for an extra five points toward your school’s score. All you have to do is set your Instagram account on public and hashtag #CrazyForCampus and #PINKParty4IU.
The first round begins Sept. 5 and will continue through Sept. 9. The winner of the Campus Showdown and PINK Party will be announced on Wednesday, Sept.10. Just download the Victoria’s Secret PINK app or go onto their website to log in and vote! You can even log in through Facebook!

The event will be hosted by the Victoria’s Secret Angels and will feature a top musical guest in concert. Past artists have included Drake, Kid Cudi, Cobra Starship,and Flo Rida. IU actually won the event back in 2009 and was able to donate $5,000 from the Cobra Starship concert to the Bloomington Middle Way House.
Great music, a fun event, bragging rights and money for charity: it’s a win- win! The chunk of schools with the lowest point total will be dropped after each round so we have to be on it, Hoosiers. Let’s rally, Hoosier Nation, and bring PINK Nation back to the best school in the world.
