It's Election Day! AKA the day that everyone goes crazy with their "I voted!" sticker selfies, wake up early to vote, stay off of social media (or voice hella opinions on social media) and the day that Vice President Joe Biden made a surprise guest appearance at University of Delaware.

Right on Main Street
At everyone's favorite Coffee Shop, Brew Haha!
He was very open to taking more selfies with students and interacting with the crowd after he ordered. After sitting and munching on a delicious egg and cheese toasted plain bagel, Biden went out into the open area above Brew Haha! and the entrance to Main Street to continue taking pictures and talk to the crowd.
As students and community members crowded on the stairs and outside on Main Street, we realized we all had one thing in common: UD pride.
The cheering started at a group picture taken of many students and most certainly did not stop after that. He encouraged UD students to make sure that they "come back after they graduate"
He ended his sweet visit back on campus with an apology to UD students that were all gathered in a frenzy to meet their favorite alum:
"I'm really sorry, but I've got a plane to catch."
I think a part of us all wanted to cry honestly.
