As most of you may know, Vine is closing down. While I have not actively watched Vines in a few years, it used to be one of my favorite ways to pass the time. In order to fully kiss it goodbye, I have compiled a list of my old favorites as well as some my friends have sent me. Enjoy!
1. Company is Coming
Chaoticrobao Posted a vine imitating a mom cleaning for company. Every time I see this I CRACK up. You can watch the full video on youtube here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBwELzvnrQg If this video does not define every mother before a holiday, I don't know what does!
2. I want to be famous

3. Child's Picture

4. Shawn Mendes
Shawn Mendes is a very talented singer. The fact that he was vining away before he got super famous is amazing. Who has seen his vines?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9QNjSad6IE Here is a video of him singing Justin Beiber's "As Long as You Love Me" in his room.
5. Ian Padgham Stopping Traffic
Pretty much all vines by Ian Padgham are amazing. He is an artist who uses stop motion to create really cool clips. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JdZ20jyG9YE In this video he uses stop motion to make it look like he is moving traffic with his fingers. Check him out!
6. Jason Nash Take a Bar
Jason Nash always makes me laugh. In this clip he is acting as a worried mother from Boston trying to get her kid to take a bar. https://vine.co/v/MajnKwKWmIm Could not be more me as a mother!7. Nicholas Megalis
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKaGKyKg6nY So quirky. He usually makes vines of him rapping strange things and puns. Here is a video of a mix of a few of his raps.8. When You're Left Alone in the Back Seat
Christian DelGrosso's Vine is totally relatable. I HATE being stuck in the back seat when my friends blast music and are grooving up front. Nobody can hear you, your ears are blowing up, and you want to get out and go home.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbZ8CFMGCMw
9. Quincy the Dog

10. Lele Pons
Lele Pons is a riot. She always uses her friends to help her create insane daydreams and scenarios. She took "Do it for the vine" to a T. I love this vine she made in particular about daydreaming in class. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_onJXlfRTAIt was extremely difficult to put into a list some favorites, as there are SO many talented comedians, musicians, and artists on that site. While at first I was not upset it was being taken down, after going back and finding my old favorites, I am a little bitter. Vine was a great place for undiscovered talent to thrive. I certainly have burned many hours of my life laying on bed watching bootless 6 second clips of people making me laugh.
What are your favorite vines? Please share them with me before we say goodbye!
RIP VINE!
