Unless you've been living under a rock since 2017, you've probably heard of Riverdale, the CW's revamp of the Archie comics. While everyone online is going crazy over #Bughead, I've found it difficult to focus on anything other than Veronica Lodge, the badass and amazing woman behind Archie Andrews. Besides being Archie's lady and the best friend to Betty Cooper, she is so much more than that. Veronica is a hurricane and a force to be reckoned with. Veronica, in all her sassy glory, is not afraid to tell her feelings, speak her mind, and stand up for what she believes in.
Not to mention, Veronica is very good at taking charge and doing what needs to be done when no one else is willing to step up.

Veronica Lodge has been through a lot and I mean, A LOT. From dealing with her manipulative mother and con-man father to Archie's "red circle" ordeal, not to mention dealing with a LITERAL SERIAL KILLER in her town, Veronica has handled everything handed to her with class, grace, and (obviously) sass.

In addition to handling every situation with class and dignity, Veronica is not afraid to be a bitch when necessary. In complete contrast to her BFF Betty, who would cry over harming a fly, Veronica would throw someone off the bridge into the river without a second thought. We're talking about the girl who snuck into her high school to retrieve her boyfriend's gun from the locker room toilet, come on now.
Veronica, like her father, knows how to be manipulative and when to use it to her advantage. Veronica Lodge has even confronted her father, former criminal and master of manipulation, and told him that she knew what he was up to and that he needed to stop before she did something he wouldn't like. Who else in Riverdale has the nerve to confront Hirem Lodge about his scandalous deeds and even threaten him? No one else but this babe.
Less importantly, Veronica always looks good. Whether it be the first day of school or running in to break up a fistfight between the serpents and football players, she's always ready for the cover of Vogue. #goals, tbh. AND she can sing, dance, and speak Spanish fluently. Veronica Lodge is absolutely perfect in any way and THIS is the woman we should be using as our role model.
