When it comes to Thanksgiving, if you are a committed vegan, that is, you probably spend a lot of time searching for the perfect Thanksgiving recipes to prepare and share with your friends and family.

But, don't worry! Veganism has so many options, and this is a pretty solid (and delicious) list of my favorite top five Thanksgiving vegan recipes.

For Thanksgiving you have one of two options. You can make something that you and your entire family can eat, like pasta, or you have the option of eating those typical Thanksgiving sides like sweet potatoes, small lettuce salads and roasted vegetables, but you never know what to expect when you are the only vegan at your party.

So, if you are a vegan or any of your guests are vegan, these five recipes are a go-to for the perfect Thanksgiving party:

1. You can never go wrong with a FullyRaw recipe.

Christina from FullyRaw creates seasonal videos and posts on her website about delicious raw vegan food. This Thanksgiving, she created a FullyRaw vegan Thanksgiving menu for those who want a healthy raw vegan holiday time. (Menu)

My personal favorite recipe for this season is the pumpkin spice banana latte smoothie, a dairy free and raw vegan smoothie. It’s definitely a staple Fall beverage.

2. Love and Lemons has a fresh and light course for your Thanksgiving party.

A Fennel Salad with walnuts and avocado is definitely a good option for everybody and not just on Thanksgiving. You'll never gain weight eating this amazing salad. This bright green dish will pop on any table.

3. Looking for something savory? Happy Healthy Life has got you covered.

If you want to trick your non-vegan friends or family members to eat vegan food, this sumac ginger tofu, quinoa, broccoli and mushrooms dish from HappyHealthyLife.com has everything you need for a delicious celebration.

4. Oh My Veggies has an amazing side dish recipe for your dinner celebration and it's called rosemary roasted carrots.

This recipe is incredibly simple, and uses nothing but small carrots, olive oil, rosemary, salt and pepper.

5. Dessert is everyone's favorite part and this apple pie muffins recipe from Bring Joy will make your house smell of cinnamon, coconuts and apples.

No Thanksgiving would be complete without apple pie, but these muffins are better than any pie, trust me.

Hopefully this roundup of healthy, vegan recipes will give you ideas on how to create the perfect vegan

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
