10 Reasons Why 'The Vampire Diaries' is the Best Show Ever

I know I am not the only one who cried during the final season of "Vampire Diaries." I'm happy we got the ending all of us wanted but my entire childhood was literally ending before my eyes. Honestly, I believe no other show could ever compare to it. Lately, other shows are not the same anymore. I find myself re-watching the entire series and I am constantly reminded why I love it beyond compare; so, here's why.

1. Its not just about the Romance!

Romance is a big thing around the show but its the entirety of the plot! There is so much many more ups and downs that each character undergoes and you get to experience it with them.

2. Okay but the ROMANCE

We are all a sucker for true love. Whether you were for Stelena or Delana, each love story was EPIC. including everyone else's! and I'm forever obsessed with the how they moved my heart.

3. Supernatural Bad-ASSES

Vampire Diaries had it all from witches, vampires, werewolves, ghost, hybrids, witch hunters, vampire hunters, nearly everything! They could all kick butt too!

4. The Salvatore Brothers

Damon and Stefan's brotherhood were one of the main themes of the show, even through the ups and downs they were always there for each other time and time again.

5. THE STRONG WOMEN

The female cast was PHENOMENAL. Not only where they brave but capable women at that to fight bigger battles than many people never face.

6. The importance of friendships

Friendships until the very end & through thick and thin, YES PLEASE. Caroline, Bonnie, and Elena are ultimate friendship goals. Even the entire cast, friends who will ride or die with you, and pick you up when you're at your lowest are the one's who you should keep by your side.

7. It's not like any other supernatural show

It is more than a simple supernatural show! It's an endearing, nostalgic, romantic, riveting, sad, action-packed, heart-breaking, jaw-dropping experience. You will get so wrapped up into it that it becomes a new world.

8. Can we talk about the trends?

We were always given the cutest looks in the show! Each character had their own styles and I am still obsessed with them. Not only were their everyday looks, but from prom looks, wedding looks, professional attire, and throw-back looks, literally everything!

9. It's fantasy and real life at the same time

What drew me in was that it was literally still fantasy but real life. People were still going about their day faces things we all face on a regular day basis while trying to be happy and have a life. It is so relatable because we are all experiencing similar things like dating, growing up and family issues.

THE MANY PLOT TWISTS

I think my jaw dropped about a thousand times while watching TVD. Every season left me shook and every set back had me at the edge of my seat. I could have not guessed the many plot twists that came my way while watching this. There were perfect plot twists at that! I won't give anything away, you have to find out yourself.
