Social media can be explained and described in many different ways, but all explanations have something in common. They all suggest that social media is always changing. With the rapid growth of technology, social media is constantly evolving and becoming bigger and bigger as the demand for digital age rises. Social media can be a broad topic, but it always revolves around technology. One thing people fail to realize is the fact that so many things to benefit from with social media and that it's not just a place where mindless videos are posted. There is a lot more to social media than people think.

To start off, social media could generally be described as any type of interaction between two or more people on the internet. Interacting on the internet could be doing anything from sharing content on news feeds, to streaming music SoundCloud. One of the main uses of social media is for social networking. Social media has allowed millions of people to connect with each other over the web with social networking and has also shown to be beneficial for business and commerce over the internet. Social networking is one of the greatest features social media has to offer because of how useful and positive social networking can be. Of course, there are negative sides to social networking on an account that you don't know everyone, but there are always safety precautions to follow that will help prevent anything negative from happening.

Overall, networking with social media is a great way to connect with business officials and other important public figures that use social media. Also, there are many people that use social media daily who you wouldn't even think would do so. Many celebrities and even the President of the United States have social media accounts. Social media and internet use are becoming more prominent every day so it is safe to say that we are entering a digital age where social media is being used positively as a tool to help people grow in their career or profession.

With that being said, start trying to use social media in productive ways so you can connect with the right people and make the right moves that bring you closer to your goals and where you want to be. Social media will always be good for entertainment, but there is so much more that it can be utilized with it, so it's your job to figure it out.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
