Christina Johnson

As an African American woman attending an HBCU, I know that I can bring different perspectives to the community's conversation. I can shed light on my experience, which is one of a blackness that will never precede me. I want Odyssey to give students and locals in my community the chance to allow their voices to be heard. We are all different, and diversity comes from more outlets than just the color of our skin. I came from a place of low expectations, but I found excellence. I am excited to write about my experience and share it on The Odyssey's platform.
