WARNING: "INFINITY WAR" SPOILERS AHEAD!

I will not try to pass as someone who has researched all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies and found all mentions of the infinity stones or a connection to the Universal war that was upcoming.

I had wanted to see the movie since I heard word about it coming out. I hadn't even seen "Avengers: Age of Ultron" yet, but was still so excited to see more of my favorite superheroes all together, such as more screen time for Doctor Strange and my all time favorite, Tom Holland as Spider-Man.

Austin and I needed a date night so I suggested we go out to dinner and finally watch "Infinity War." I dressed up and we set out to see the climax of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I was so excited. I somehow managed to not read or hear any spoilers from the movie.

Austin and I were almost the only people in the theater because it had been a week after it had premiered. That was perfect so we could ask each other questions and mention facts from the Marvel movies the other hadn't seen.

I am incredibly upset over the ending of "Infinity War." Austin will tell you I cried and was angry and whined for about an hour after it ended. I was mostly petty because they killed off my baby, Spider-Man. I was so upset that it didn't end like all the other "Avengers" movie where the resolution was at the end tied up like a bow. I would always just sigh in relief when they ended and the 'villain' or situation was subdued and everyone was saved.

When Scarlett Witch managed to destroy the Mind Stone I breathed a sigh of relief. When Thor struck Thanos with the Axe, I was so happy. I was like this is the ending I was waiting for. Suspense, last minute save like always, perfect.

But, NO! When Thanos looked at Thor and said "You should have aimed for the head" and snapped his fingers, I gasped. I was so upset. I was sobbing as I watched all of my favorite characters vanish in the unbiased genocide. The improv death scene of Spider-Man made me clutch my chest. I almost had a panic attack.

This was not how it was supposed to end!

I guess it was a smart director move to not end this climax as every other Avenger movie and also it is how it ended in the original comic books. But it was not what I was expecting. I was expecting all of the heroes to band together, all of them together on earth, to defeat Thanos. They did band together, but all over the universe, and not communicating about how to defeat him.

Although I whined and sobbed after the ending and was so angry for a good two days after watching it, I would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the Marvel Universe. The movie itself is amazing with all the different worlds colliding into one huge cross-over. Go see "Infinity War" if you haven't, although I hope if you're reading this you already have and agree with me.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
