It’s easy to get discouraged with today’s society...I mean just look at the news headlines. There’s some pretty ugly stuff going on in the world right now, and while we must acknowledge suffering going on around us, it must not be the only thing that we acknowledge. While there is so much hate in the world, there is also so much love, which often slips through the cracks of the media and goes unnoticed. Hate is strong, but love will always be stronger.
A few years ago at a music festival, one of my favorite bands came out and introduced themselves. “Hi, we’re The Mowgli’s, and we believe that love can change the world”, the lead singer said. At that moment, I fell in love with the band more than I thought was possible. I fell in love with what they stand for. “The Mowgli’s” offer uplifting and positive anthems about love and happiness that we should all stop and listen to, especially in times like these. I truly believe if we all shared this outlook on life, the world would be different place. So let’s listen to some songs, spread the love, and see the good, shall we?
