have a day for almost anything you can think of. This includes official and unofficial
days. If
you notice that you missed one of the events during the previous months, don’t
fret! There are plenty of events ahead of us yet to come. And hey! There is always
next year. Make sure you keep a wide-open eye on perks that restaurants and stores offer
during those days. For example, a free ice cream cone from Dairy Queen or a free pancake from IHOP!

1. National Lemonade Day
Make this day a special one for the youth by helping them set up a lemonade stand. Lemonade, lemonade in the shade!
2. Mother's Day and National Have a Coke Day
Please give your mom a call, send her a gift, and tell her how much you love her. If you stop for a visit, Share a Coke with her even if her name isn't on the bottle.

5. National Doughnut Day
This is one of two doughnut days. I always get my free donut from Krispy Kreme. Sometimes, before leaving I stop at the drive-through to get another free one. It may not be ethical, but it is only once a year.

7. National Leave the Office Early Day
Note: this is an "unofficial" day. Let your manager know ahead of time if you need to leave early to celebrate this day.

8. Independence Day! July the Fourth. Celebrate your independence by attending a firework show, carnival, parade, etc.9. National Fried Chicken Day

11. National Women's Equality Day
Women were granted the right to vote on August 26, 1920.
12. National Dog Day is also on August 26.

This is a good day for coffee connoisseurs. Not all coffee shops participate on this day, but McDonald's does offer free McCafe coffee all week long during that time.
