New year, new mistakes to be made. I'm sure you are all brainstorming what your New Year's resolution should be and this is why I am here. But let's make this realistic. You will never give up pizza or miraculously become a gym rat because you know that the first weekend back, you and your crew are going to dive into some late night Dominos and you'll be too hungover the next day to even leave your dorm/house/srat/frat. Here are some friendly and achievable resolutions to kick off 2016 and there's only five because that's an achievable number:
1. Go to the Career Center
Yeah... it's probably about time you actually made a resume and began to think about summer internships/life after college don't you think?
2. Go out less
Perhaps fall term took a toll on the good old GPA and you need to stick your head in the books a little more. It's freezing anyway, might as well keep warm?
3. Attend more sporting events
Whether you're an athlete or not, we need to show some more school spirit. There's nothing more depressing than looking up from the field/rink/court and seeing deserted bleachers meant for the young and sexy bums of our student body.
4. Make some new friends
Even though you and your crew are inseparable, there's nothing wrong with a little friend flirting. Sometimes it's nice to get a breather from your loco amigos. Maybe you'll find your friend soulmate that you didn't even know existed until this term.
5. Visit RPI
I heard it's a pretty neat time...
Kidding, RPI sucks so I lied, four is a much more achievable number.
Much love,
Caro
