Many challenges that we face from day to day stem from our fears of things not working out the way we want them to or need them to. The unknown is scary; therefore, we must not focus on the things that we cannot control or the things we cannot yet see.
If we are to overcome the harsh challenges that we encounter in our lives, we must learn to deal with the fact that many things in life are uncertain, such as how old we will live to be, who will be the president in twenty years, how much income one will achieve in five years, etc. Individuals nowadays thrive off knowing, or at least having an idea of what is to happen in the near future.
Our generation today is a very fast moving culture; furthermore, because of how fast things move today, patience has become somewhat of a rare commodity.
Personally, impatience is a result of the constant need for our generation to have 100% satisfaction 100% of the time. If there is even a slight inclination of doubt surrounding a certain endeavor, individuals will abandon the previous goal and seek out something "easier" or something that "doesn't require that much attention."
